Q: How do I choose the color of the hair extensions?
A: You should always choose 2 or 3 different shades of hair to give a matching natural look, to your own hair and a lighter shade to give your hair some highlights.
Q: Can I color the hair extensions?
A: Yes, the extensions can be colored but only darker. It is recommended to use only 10 volume peroxide. Q: Can I use products?
A: Yes, you can use products. It's best to use shampoo for color-treated hair and leave-in conditioner. Then use your products (Mousse, gel, etc...) and style as usual. Blow-dry, curling iron, flat iron... It's human hair. Q: Why would I get hair extensions?
A: Hair extensions are used to enhance, lengthen and volumize your hair. Q: Why shouldn't I get hair extensions?
A: Extensions shouldn't be used on clients with alopecia, a medical problem with hair loss or chemotherapy patients.
Q: How do "Extension Locs/Euro locs" work?
A: High quality European hair is used in this damage free system. Small un-detectable "Euro Locs" are used to attach this strand-by-strand method to your own hair that adds length and volume.
Q: Will it cause damage to my hair?
A: No it will not damage your hair because unlike traditional methods of hair extensions there is no glue, no bonding, no tension, no chemicals or stretching used in the application or removal of the extensions. With proper care and maintenance your natural hair continues to grow damage free.
Q: How long do they last?
A: How long they last depends on how fast your hair grows, as you’re hair grows the extensions grow along with it. Usually they last for 12-16 weeks and at that time you can have them removed. But for most people you can wear them as long as you want.
Q: What's the first step?
A: The first step in getting hair extensions is a consultation to see if you are a good candidate for hair extensions. Then your hair color and texture will be matched. After that an appointment will be scheduled with a deposit of 50% of the total cost. Q: What if an extension falls out or becomes loose?
A: This is a normal occurrence with hair extensions. Please keep the extension and then they can be re-installed. Did you know?
The average person sheds over 75 hairs a day, so when hair extensions are in the hair this prevents the hair from falling out. When the hair extensions are removed this hair then falls out and this is why the hair may appear thinner than before. |
